Extraordinary ideas don’t arrive fully formed. They start with passion, purpose, and a few brave people willing to show up.
A decade ago, I joined founders Andrew and Pete at one of their first Atomic Networking events, held in a small room by the River Tyne. Fast forward to 2025, and I was standing inside the iconic Glasshouse International Music Centre, with over 1,500 entrepreneurs from accross the globe at #ATOMICON25 - the UK’s most epic sales and marketing conference.
It was more than a full-circle moment. It was a reminder...

Look How Far We've All Come
ATOMICON has grown into the must-attend event for small and mighty business owners. Curated by Andrew and Pete to help skyrocket your business through strategy, storytelling and real connections.
It now features a star-studded speakers line-up, from Davina McCall and Fearne Cotton, to local hero Geoff Ramm, all sharing ideas that leave a lasting impact.
What began as playful Atomic Networking (with Freddo chocolates thrown across the room to reward participants!) has evolved into a world-class experience. I was there at the beginning, witnessing the spark of a movement, watching Andrew and Pete rehearse their keynote as they set their sights on the stage at Social Media Marketing World in San Deiago.
By dreaming big, making big asks, and taking bold moves, they achieved their vision. Many of the amazing business connections I made there have become life-long friends, clients, or we've worked on project partnerships.

As they opened ATOMICON25, Andrew and Peter shared a powerful message: "Don't be afraid of big asks, and bold moves."
Leverage what you alredy have... your skills, your audience, your access, your results.
This message felt especially poignent as I caught up with Gerry King. Now retired, I originally met Gerry through Atomic Networking, and I designed his trade show stand, back when he built websites for funeral directors.
Gerry was ATOMIC Member #1 - the very first person to say, “I’m in,” before the vision and community had fully formed.
He was the first domino. The first cheerleader. The first ‘YES’ that set everything in motion.

After speaking on Day 1 of UK Startup and Scaleup week, I'm now dreaming even bigger... "maybe next year, I could be on the main stage at ATOMICON."
The night before, I had a dream, a vivid scene like something out of Joseph and The Amazing Tchnicoloured Dreamcoat. I envisioned Andrew and Pete holding my IdeasBook, and invited me to be a speaker. So when I met them the next day, I took a leap of faith and told them. Half of my dream came true on the spot. That moment became the launch of my #MissionMainStage campaign!
