My Story
After studying Art and Art History with a focus on 3D sculpture, I pursued Graphic Design, earning an HND in Visual Communications. My career began in 1987 as a Graphic Designer, followed by a high-profile role designing window displays for The Body Shop. I spent 25 years at Centre Design Ltd, leading large-scale Christmas and retail display projects across the UK and Europe. A highlight was attending Disney’s Imagineering program, which fueled my passion for creative problem-solving.
In 2005, I co-founded Charlie’s Chocolate Factory, a lifestyle business offering chocolate fountains at high-profile events. After Centre Design merged and closed in 2013, I became a freelance Creative Consultant, helping businesses with visual communications and business development. I’ve since worked with top studios like Paul Windle Design and led successful tender bids for major projects in the culture and heritage sectors.
Now, I teach creative entrepreneurs through the ‘Visual Marketing Academy,’ sharing the strategies big brands use to captivate and boost sales.
